The images found here have all been gathered either from this facility's official resources or news articles.
While I have no exact information on when this walrus arrived in Istanbul, the facility's website claims that all of their animals arrived a month before its opening, which was on December 1st, 2008.
Although the earliest I've seen Lolik at the dolphinarium was in 2011, news reports from their opening day confirmed that they had two walruses (Sara being the other).
The last reliable records I currently have of Lolik still being housed at Istanbul were in 2021 -- a photo uploaded to social media on April 20th, and spoken confirmation given by an employee to a park guest on November 9th. Given the lack of further information, Lolik is now considered to be lost to follow-up.
