Notes and Information
It was announced on March 11th, 2008 that this 6-month-old pup had completed its quarantine period and would be transferred that month to the Yeisk Dolphinarium. While one unreliably dated source does mention a trained six-month-old walrus and show a picture of a young animal at Yeisk, I have no information regarding when the pup made the transfer to the facility or how long it lived there. In April of 2008 it was announced that another walrus, a 2-year-old female named Maya, had recently been moved to the facility and would soon begin performances -- while the facility's other performing animals were listed in this release (dolphins and fur seals), no other walruses were mentioned.
