This pup is the first walrus born in China.
In July a naming contest was announced for the pup -- the options being Doris, June, Gina, or Summer. Her name was announced in a public ceremony on September 28th.
I have seen no updates or recent images of this pup since October 2017. I am uncertain of her current status at this time.
