This walrus was present in the park by 1970, and was no longer listed in their inventory by 1972.
There is a reasonable chance that this animal is the same individual as a 1966 import, who was listed as a Pacific walrus, and/or a 1968 import named Nickelmann, who was listed as an Atlantic walrus. It is not improbable to consider that all three animals may have been the same individual, with his subspecies recategorized over the years -- indeed, such inaccuracies have been seen before from this publication when Antje, a Pacific walrus, was initially listed without subspecies for a few years, and then was listed as an Atlantic walrus.
