I have no information on this walrus other than that he was present in the park by 1968, and was last listed in their inventory in 1969.
There is a possibility that this animal may have been the same individual as a 1966 import, who was listed as a Pacific walrus, and/or a walrus first listed in the 1970 census whose subspecies was not listed. It is not improbable to consider that all three animals may have been the same individual, with his subspecies recategorized over the years -- indeed, such inaccuracies have been seen before from this publication when Antje, a Pacific walrus, was initially listed without subspecies for a few years, and then was listed as an Atlantic walrus.
