Notes and Information

Svyatogor is also known as Garik (Гарик).

While three of Garik's Saint Petersburg herdmates were moved to the Utrish Marine Station on November 21st, 2020, I have no information at this time regarding when precisely Garik may have arrived at the facility. Saint Petersburg's final performance was held on November 22nd, and the facility closed its doors to the public after final program bookings on the 29th -- So while I can't be certain of Garik's transfer date, it very likely took place at some point in November.

This individual may have been transferred to the Arkhipo-Osipovsky Dolphinarium in November of 2020 and housed there for around a month prior to arriving at Utrish.

The earliest mention I have thus far been able to find of Garik being housed at Saint Petersburg was in 2015, although it is likely that he had been housed there since his capture.

Garik is the same age as, and was presumably captured alongside, walrus Frosya, who was said to be 8 years old both on April 28th, 2020 and June 14th, 2021.
