Notes and Information

SeaWorld often used stage names in addition to having characters that the animals played in shows, and would additionally create falsified names for news publications in the 70s and 80s. "Wally" was one such name used for the corporation's walruses, both male and female -- as such, it makes it difficult to know when the original Wally may have passed away due to his name being in continued use.

This individual was still present at SeaWorld San Diego as of 1975; it is plausible that he may have survived to 1978, but anything beyond that date I have thus far been unable to confirm.
