Although a date of transfer is not known, walruses were present at Grandview when the facility opened to the public on January 16th, 2016.
This walrus has been called Amy in at least one video published by the Grandview Aquarium; an individual she was housed with at the facility, called Wendy in one of their publications, is now called Amy at Nanjing Underwater World -- I therefore make the assumption here that their identifications were mixed up by the content manager at Grandview, although the possibility remains that "Wendy" was renamed to Amy upon arrival to her new facility, and that this individual has retained the name Amy as well.
Wendy was first sighted at Wuhu on March 24th, 2023.
