Notes and Information

This walrus is one potential sire of a calf conceived at SeaWorld San Diego in 1987 and stillborn at the Cincinnati Zoo in 1988, and of a calf conceived at SeaWorld Orlando in 2001 and born at the Brookfield Zoo in 2002.

#26 in the AZA regional studbook may potentially be an error and duplicate of Bruiser.

Bruiser's health was in decline for several weeks prior to his passing as he suffered from kidney failure.
